Bundaberg Fowler steam locomotives were used to haul sugar cane, and Bundaberg Jenbach diesel locomotives were supplied to the sugar and coal mining industries. 35 years later, the Hunslet Engine Company assisted the Foundry to produce new powerful canefield diesels.
